ACP Participating Communities

The saveONenergy ABORIGINAL CONSERVATION PROGRAM provides customized conservation services to help First Nation communities, including remote and northern communities, reduce their electricity consumption, build a culture of conservation and improve home comfort.

Year 1 Communities

In its inaugural year, the program attracted significant interest -- with more than 30 First Nation communities applying to participate. Twelve communities were selected to participate in the first year in August 2013:

The saveONenergy ABORIGINAL CONSERVATION PROGRAM also provides Métis and urban Aboriginal peoples with support and information to more easily access the saveONenergy province-wide conservation programs offered by local utilities.
