On November 21, 2014, the OPA received a directive from the Minister of Energy which outlines changes that will be made to the existing Support Programs. To view the directive, please click here.

The OPA was directed to streamline the support programs including the Aboriginal Renewable Energy Fund (AREF), Aboriginal Transmission Fund (ATF), Municipal and Public Sector Energy Partnerships Program (MPSEPP) and Community Energy Partnerships Program (CEPP) into two new funding streams: the Partnership Stream and the Project Development Stream.

The Support Programs will remain open until further notice. The Aboriginal Community Energy Plan (ACEP) Program has re-opened and is currently accepting Proposals on an on-going basis. Please visit www.aboriginalenergy.ca/acep for more information.
